  • Adam mentioned many fake versions of Jesus. Have you seen a fake version of Jesus? How did you know it was fake?

  • People don’t walk away from Jesus. People walk away from people. Have you found this to be true in your own life?

  • Read Matthew 23: 1-15. Describe what Jesus is saying here.

  • Reread Matthew 23: 8-9. Do you see Jesus as your one Teacher? Why or why not? If not, what is keeping you from seeing Jesus as your one Teacher?

Reflect: Are you following people or are you following Jesus? Take time to reflect on this question. Spend time in prayer, coming to Jesus with your honest thoughts and questions. 

Reflect: Where are you portraying a fake Jesus? Be honest with yourself and with your community.
