Embrace Church is seeking a highly organized and dedicated Operations Coordinator to join our team. This important role involves overseeing the church's security team, managing information technology, and administering our church database. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and flexible individual with a passion for supporting the mission of our church and ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Security Team Leadership
Lead and manage the volunteer security team.
Recruit security team members that understand Embrace Church’s visions and values.
Ensure the safety and well-being of attenders, volunteers and staff during Sunday worship gatherings and Wednesday youth ministry gatherings.
Develop and implement security protocols and procedures.
Conduct regular training and drills for the security team.
Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
Information Technology Management
Oversee and maintain all IT systems and infrastructure.
Provide technical support to staff and volunteers.
Ensure the security and integrity of church data and systems.
Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
Implement and support new technologies to enhance church operations and ministry.
Recruit, lead, and oversee a dedicated team of volunteer IT professionals, ensuring the efficient operation of the church’s technology infrastructure.
Church Database Administration:
Manage the church's database using Planning Center Online (PCO).
Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of attenders and volunteers.
Generate reports and analyze data to support church activities and decision-making.
Provide training and support to staff on the use of the database.
Develop and maintain best practices for data entry, security, and privacy.

Graphic Designer (Graphics Coordinator)

Embrace Church is adding another passionate graphic designer to our growing Creative Team! This is a full-time role, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The role is a central position working 40 hours each week in support of our four physical locations and the overall brand of Embrace Church. The Graphics Coordinator is responsible for executing the design aesthetic of Embrace and helping lead, manage, and enhance the look and feel of Embrace through the direction of the Associate Creative Director.
Responsibilities
Collaborates with the Associate Director of Creative on the development & execution of all graphic design work including series art, ministries art (groups, missions, students and kids), social media assets, website, special events, and any other design needs that arise.
Sets up the Creative, Production & Speaking Teams for successful and smooth Sunday mornings through the preparation of accurate & compelling slide decks, rotator graphics and other Sunday morning-specific deliverables.
Coordinates design requests from all ministry areas; actively communicates and collaborates with other teams to fulfill requests in a timely & excellent way.
Assists with the ordering, pick up and delivery of print assets; helps with the installation of signage or entryway pieces.
Collaborates with the Communications Coordinator on graphics & content for social media.
Collaborates with Creative & Pastoral teams in brainstorming sessions.
Seeks out and innovates ways for Embrace to be a more creative experience. This includes art/design related to the Sunday morning experience including the parking lot, lobby, kids’ spaces and sanctuary.
Shoots and edits photos.
Manages all creative and photo files both during post-production and the archiving stage, ensuring efficient retrieval of archived files.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously and ensures the timely completion of deliverables.
Skills

Critical eye for detail.
Strong customer service skills. You’ll be working with almost every staff member at Embrace, helping to translate their needs into assets that help us relentlessly reach the next person for Jesus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage differing viewpoints so the final product remains true to the objective.
Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis in Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and InDesign. Experience with Lightroom is preferred.
Strong understanding of print requirements in regard to color, pixel density, layout, etc.
Experience with photography and photo editing strongly preferred.
A highly collaborative approach to work and creation, putting aside personal preferences to achieve the “best” idea.

Worship & Gathering:
Launch and oversee a consistent worship gathering dedicated to college students and young adults, set to begin in Fall 2025.
Develop and implement a dynamic communication strategy to effectively engage and connect with college students and young adults.
Collaborate closely with the Worship & Production Director to design and deliver an outstanding worship experience.
Establish small groups on campus aimed at discipling students and fostering a vibrant, lasting community.
Leadership Development:
Develop and nurture a high-performing volunteer team to lead and sustain a flourishing college ministry.
Design and implement a robust leadership pipeline for college students, empowering them to take ownership in ministry.
Mentor and support students fostering their leadership skills and spiritual growth.
Offer ongoing evaluation and coaching to empower ministry leaders in their development and effectiveness.
Strategic Outreach:
Develop a comprehensive strategy to effectively reach and engage college students and young adults, creating pathways for involvement and spiritual growth.

Oversee the environments of the group meeting space: ensuring a welcoming space for all attendees.
Foster a culture of community and discipleship within small groups, encouraging spiritual growth, accountability, and meaningful relationships among participants.
Serve as a liaison between small group leaders, ministry leaders, and the church leadership, facilitating communication and collaboration.
Assist in planning and executing church-wide events and initiatives, fostering a sense of unity and engagement within the congregation.
Cultivate relationships with small group participants and ministry leaders, providing pastoral care, guidance, and support as needed.
Collaborate with the operational and administrative teams to ensure the smooth functioning of the small group ministry, including budget management, resource allocation, and communication strategies.

Communication & Calendar
Own and manage all communication & follow-up for direct report (email, phone calls, texts, DMs, social).
Own, plan ahead, and manage schedule, appointments, and travel for direct report.
Look ahead & remove as many tasks from direct report as possible (any to-dos, actions that need to be taken, phone calls that need to be made, etc.).
Manage report’s daily meeting schedule, ensuring they are prepared, on time, and tasks are implemented.
Maintain an organized, professional looking office space for yourself and direct report.
Strategy & Growth
Assist in creating & proofreading content for writeups, talks, projects, social posts, etc.
Develop and implement strategy to grow reach (email, podcast, social, partners).
Plan and execute special projects for your report.

Campus Cleaner
Our team is looking for a part-time Campus Cleaner to help maintain our spaces on Sunday mornings.

Our team is looking for a part-time Campus Cleaner to help maintain our spaces on Sunday mornings.
Responsibilities
Before Services:
Walk around the exterior of the building and through the parking lot making sure there is no garbage, branches or other out of place objects.
Clean front windows and doors as needed in the winter. Squeegee front windows every Sunday morning in spring, summer & fall.
Do a walkthrough of all spaces to ensure all rooms are ready for the morning.
During Services:
Regularly walk public spaces to change our garbages and actively look for items that are out of place.
Be ready & available to help clean up coffee spills & dry mop the entry floor on rainy/snowy days.
Consistently check & refresh all bathrooms, including spot cleaning, wiping down counters, paper product refill and changing out garbages.
Vacuum salt, leaves and other debris on rugs or carpet as needed.
