• Pray and invite God into this time with Him.

• Have you ever heard someone speak, “Christian?”

• Read 1 Corinthians 9:19-23. Describe what Paul is saying here. 

• When you have a message that matters for everyone, you have to communicate it in a way that matters to everyone. Describe a time when you didn’t understand something. How did you respond? What helped the situation?

• Imagine telling someone about your faith who has never attended church or heard of Jesus. How would you describe your faith to that person? 

• The weirdest thing that Christians say is nothing. Who is someone that you could be encouraging or sharing your story with?

Spiritual Practice

Sharing Your Faith: Write out your faith story. Underline or circle any words or phrases that could be difficult for someone to understand. Rewrite those phrases to be more understandable.
