  • Pray and invite God into this time with Him.

  • Can you identify with any of the people in this painting? If so, which one?

  • Read Psalm 144:1-4. What stands out to you from this passage?

  • Do you picture God considering you? Do you feel like you matter to God? Why or why not?

  • Read Romans 12:1-2 in the MSG translation. What stands out to you? What does it mean to take our “everyday, ordinary life” and make it an offering to God?

  • God thinks about you, but do you think about Him? What does it mean to notice God more in your everyday life?

  • What is one way you can make the regular work in your life, holy work?

Spiritual Practice

Prayer: Pray like it matters to God. Make a plan to pray everyday this week. Add it to something you already do everyday. For example, pray every time you brush your teeth. Your prayers and your thoughts matter to God.
