57th Street Part-Time Groups Coordinator

PART-TIME, 10-15 HOURS/WEEK

Embrace Church is made up of campuses & network churches in South Dakota, Minnesota and

online. The heartbeat of our church is to relentlessly reach the next person for Jesus. We do

that by encountering God, reaching people with compassion, being embraced by God, and

then running to those around us.

The Sioux Falls area is one of the fastest-growing cities in America. By 2031, we hope to reach

5% of Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities for Jesus. That 5% would be 12,500 souls for

Jesus!

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and equip small group leaders, small group first impressions teams, and childcare workers. Provide ongoing support, resources, and training opportunities to empower them in their roles.

  • Oversee the environments of the group meeting space: ensuring a welcoming space for all attendees.

  • Foster a culture of community and discipleship within small groups, encouraging spiritual growth, accountability, and meaningful relationships among participants.

  • Serve as a liaison between small group leaders, ministry leaders, and the church leadership, facilitating communication and collaboration.

  • Assist in planning and executing church-wide events and initiatives, fostering a sense of unity and engagement within the congregation.

  • Cultivate relationships with small group participants and ministry leaders, providing pastoral care, guidance, and support as needed.

  • Collaborate with the operational and administrative teams to ensure the smooth functioning of the small group ministry, including budget management, resource allocation, and communication strategies.

  • An authentic follower of Christ that is pursuing the Lord with his/her heart, mind, and soul

  • A life growing in all aspects of the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control)

  • Involved in the heart and life of Embrace (events, activities, small group, etc)

  • Entrepreneurial-minded, with a passion for building relationships

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Ability to create and foster a team environment and sense of unity among team members

  • Able to give and receive feedback in a healthy and productive way
