A Christmas to Remember Week 3

Questions

  • Pray and invite God into this time with Him.

  • Have you ever seen something that was so beautiful that you were just in awe of it?

  • Read Genesis 1:1-3

  • Do you ever look around at everything in nature and appreciate its beauty and the fact that God created it?

  • Read John 1:1-5, 14.

  • God didn’t just make the heavens and the earth, God also made you. God made you exactly how He wanted you to be. Have you ever questioned that?

  • Do you ever feel broken, or second-best, or like you don’t belong, or you don’t fit the mold? Do you ever feel empty or like you don’t have a purpose?

  • God has a purpose for you and your life. God wants you, He intentionally made you exactly the way you’re supposed to be.

  • Read John 1:14 again.

  • Have you ever questioned if God was there? Have you ever felt like you couldn’t feel His presence and wondered if He was listening to you at all?

  • Have you ever tried to reach God? What are some of the things you did to try and reach Him?

  • Good news, friends: we don’t need to reach God because He comes to us, right where we are. He wants to be with you!

  • Jesus wants to be with you, do you want to be with Him?

Spiritual Practice

Reflection: Take a deep breath and reflect on the questions you just answered. Think about the times in life where maybe you felt lost or like God didn’t see you. Now think about the verses you read and how God does see you and wants to be close to you.

Prayer: Spend time in prayer with God. Thank Him for all the beautiful things He has created, including you. Thank Him for coming to us even when we feel like we don’t deserve His love. And thank Him for sending His Son to save us.
