Luke Roorda

Luke grew up in a loving Christian home and met Jesus at a young age, a gift he’s never taken for granted. He’s been part of Embrace since day one and has spent nearly 20 years in full-time ministry, sharing the hope and love of Christ. While at South Dakota State University, he met his amazing smokeshow of a wife, Shawna, and together they’re raising their two awesome boys, Reid and Owen. When he’s not pastoring or serving in the South Dakota Air National Guard, you’ll find Luke enjoying a good book, a great cup of espresso, cheering on the SDSU Jackrabbits, hitting the ski slopes, or geeking out over Star Wars and aviation.
