All humans, even the “good” ones, are broken. We have fallen short of God’s best. Because of this, we are separated from having a relationship with God. That separation breaks God’s heart and leaves us feeling lost.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” - John 3:16-17
God sent His Son, Jesus, to bring us back to God. Jesus came to earth, died on a cross, and was raised to life to forgive our sin, give us new life, and bring us into a relationship with God.

Salvation is the start of a relationship.
Salvation is about more than just what happens when we die. It’s the way to experience a full life with God here and now.
In deciding to follow Jesus, we’re acknowledging that our way isn’t working anymore. That we’re done flying solo, and we’re giving Jesus control.
From that moment on, we’re never alone. Jesus is the friend who never leaves us or forsakes us. He gives us His Holy Spirit to guide us and lead us to God, who loves and cares for us.
Do you want a relationship with Jesus?
Romans 10:9 says, “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
”Confess and believe.” That’s all it takes to start a relationship with Jesus. You can confess to Him in your own words, or pray the following:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I admit that I’ve fallen short. I haven’t done things your way and need your forgiveness. I believe that You lived, died, and rose again so that I could be connected to God. I confess you as my Lord and commit my life to You. I give you my past, present, and future. Take my life and use it. I give it to You. Amen."
