Embrace Church is currently seeking a Social Media & Online Coordinator to join our Creative Team! This is a full-time role, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The role is a central staff position working in support of our physical locations, online campus and the overall brand of Embrace Church. The Social Media & Online Coordinator is responsible for creating and executing compelling online content through the direction of the Creative & Communications Director.

As the Social Media & Online Coordinator, you’ll be an important part of Embrace’s Creative Team, helping to build engagement and trust with our digital audiences. Top-notch communication skills are a must, as you’ll be working with multiple teams to ensure excellence in all text, image and video content created for our platforms. 

Responsibilities

  • In a nutshell: you’ll help us communicate the vision and values of Embrace online!

  • Write, schedule and post compelling and meaningful content to Embrace’s social media platforms and website. Consistently monitor social media channels and respond to comments, likes and other interactions in a timely and meaningful manner.

  • Raise up a team of volunteers to engage in online conversations on Sunday mornings.

  • Work with the Creative Team to craft content for various marketing campaigns for message series and special events. After each campaign, review analytics, measure success and provide recommendations that will inform future efforts.

  • Assist with content development for our Sunday morning pre-service spot for our online campus. Ability to serve as a regular pre-service host is a bonus, but not a requirement.

  • Collaboration with Embrace’s Creative Team to capture and package key messages and relevant other content from Embrace messages.

  • Craft compelling emails that people will want to open and maintain Embrace’s email lists.

  • Keep Embrace’s website and online profiles up-to-date and crazy accurate.

  • Coach and inspire fellow staff members and volunteers on how to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way.

  • Be a fun and active participant in weekly planning and strategy meetings with the Creative Team meetings.

  • Disseminates Sunday materials, including sermon notes and graphics, to network churches.

  • Other duties as assigned that will keep Embrace’s Creative Team running efficiently and effectively.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

  • You’re a whiz at the in’s and out’s of all social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You genuinely love experimenting with the latest social trends and are always pursuing new ideas. 

  • Excellent written communication skills and a keen eye for detail. You’re an authentic human being on social media, but can also have an eye for correct grammar. 

  • Comfortable in front of a live camera; possesses the ability to think on your feet in a conversational and fun way. (Preferred but not required.)

  • Ability to turn around projects on short timelines. 

  • Previous content communication experience. 

  • Customer service-related experience.

  • Love working on a team as much as you love posting on Insta!

Our team is looking for a part-time Campus Cleaner to help maintain our spaces on Sunday mornings.

Responsibilities

Before Services:

  • Walk around the exterior of the building and through the parking lot making sure there is no garbage, branches or other out of place objects. 

  • Clean front windows and doors as needed in the winter. Squeegee front windows every Sunday morning in spring, summer & fall.

  • Do a walkthrough of all spaces to ensure all rooms are ready for the morning. 

During Services:

  • Regularly walk public spaces to change our garbages and actively look for items that are out of place. 

  • Be ready & available to help clean up coffee spills & dry mop the entry floor on rainy/snowy days.

  • Consistently check & refresh all bathrooms, including spot cleaning, wiping down counters, paper product refill and changing out garbages. 

  • Vacuum salt, leaves and other debris on rugs or carpet as needed.

Embrace Church, a multi-site church, is in search of a self-motivated and coachable Worship Leader to enhance our Worship Department, with a primary focus on coordinating and leading worship at one of our campuses. This crucial role includes weekly worship leadership, nurturing relationships with musicians, and contributing significantly to our mission of relentlessly reaching the next person for Jesus. The ideal candidate will have a zeal for leading worship, a knack for building relationships, and a talent for developing musicians. Key skills for this position include effective communication, the ability to mentor others, and proficiency in band leadership. This role reports directly to the Central Worship Director.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead Sunday worship services and Wednesday evening youth worship.

  • Lead rehearsals and worship services for weekends in a way that is engaging and authentic.

  • Recruit, develop, equip, train, and motivate worship team members and leaders, while building a strong team culture through development strategies and fostering personal connections among the team.

  • Provide expertise on music, trends and culture to lead people into meaningful worship.

  • Occasionally lead worship at multiple campuses, maximizing the exposure to other team dynamics, campus cultures, and organization-wide development opportunities.

  • Contribute to the overall strategy of the worship department by leading and co-leading along with and alongside other staff.

  • Engage in weekly staff and team meetings, contributing to the creative planning of worship experiences both on the weekend and throughout other special events (i.e. Night of Worship).

  • Uphold and promote Embrace's Work Values and Team Culture, creating an environment of authentic, engaging worship.

A Week In The Life Of A Multi-Site Worship Leader:

  • Lead worship on a regular basis with excellence and relevance at weekend worship services and other events.

  • Develop worship sets that effectively reach new individuals for Jesus with singable, joyous, and authentic songs, while also nurturing ongoing spiritual growth and deeper worship experiences for our regular attendees.

  • Prepare for services by memorizing songs and lyrics and planning for spoken parts of worship service.

  • Communicate details with band members and campus production teams in advance.

  • Lead and develop Youth Worship on Wednesday nights, providing on going leadership and developing a culture of worship that provides space for students to worship.

  • Develop yourself and others by continually working on your craft and encouraging others.

  • Perform other duties as assigned: ministry events, campus related events.

  • Must be available Sunday - Thursday. Days off include Friday and Saturday. Required to be available for youth services on Wednesdays evenings and team nights one Thursday night a month. Occasional commitments include off-night rehearsals for special services, holidays and special events.
