57th Street Production Coordinator

Embrace Church is looking for a Production Coordinator to join our 57th Street team.

FULL-TIME, 40+ HOURS/WEEK OR POSSIBLE PART-TIME, 15-20 HOURS/WEEK

The heartbeat of our church is to relentlessly reach the next person for Jesus. The Sioux Falls area is one of the fastest-growing cities in America. By 2031, we hope to reach 5% of Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities for Jesus. That 5% would be 12,500 people for Jesus!

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Production Team to implement given resources (lighting, graphics, videos, etc.) into Sunday Services.

  • Grow and train a dynamic volunteer tech team for all services.

  • Coordinate, schedule, and communicate with 57th Street Production Team regarding worship service production needs and plans. 

  • Work with Production leads, Creative Director, & Executive Pastor of content to create clear message notes for Sunday services, along with Confidence Slides for Speaking Pastor.

  • Lead preparation and execution for Wednesday night e/y services. Work with campus Worship Leader and Youth Coordinator to ensure all teams are working together.

  • Work with the Production teams to ensure that in room elements translate well to broadcast.

  • Participate in regularly scheduled Worship & Production meetings.

  • Report to designated Production Lead.

eKids Special Needs Coordinator - Part Time

Embrace Church is looking for a part time Special Needs Coordinator to join our eKids team.

PART-TIME, 10-15 HOURS/WEEK

  • Assist in eKids working with kids with special needs on Sunday mornings (birth-5th grade).

  • Flexible 3-5 hours during the week for training, preparation and communication.

  • Recruit, train and schedule eKids Buddy Volunteer Team (eKids Buddies are volunteers assigned to assist eKids that need extra 1-on-1 help in eKids on Sunday mornings.

  • Communicate and schedule with parents. 

  • Modify and prepare environments and curriculum. 

  • Communicate and collaborate weekly with the eKids and campus teams.

  • Assist in planning, modifying, and facilitating eKids events. 

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Overview:

The Facilities Coordinator at Embrace Church will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, excellent, and welcoming environment for our staff, attendees, and guests. This position is responsible for both the interior and exterior upkeep of the church property, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained, clean, and inviting.

Responsibilities

  • Interior Cleaning:

    • Building Cleaning: Clean and maintain excellent environments in all interior areas of the church, including hallways, offices, meeting rooms and common spaces.

    • Bathrooms: Regularly clean and disinfect bathrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.).

    • Windows: Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces throughout the building to maintain a bright and welcoming environment.

    • Floors: Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors throughout the facility. Address any spills or stains promptly.

    • Trash Removal: Empty trash cans in all rooms and areas, ensuring they are replaced with clean liners. Dispose of waste in a safe and responsible manner.

  • Exterior Groundskeeping:

    • Lawn Care: Regularly mow and trim the lawn, ensuring the exterior grounds are tidy and well-kept throughout the year.

    • Snow Removal: In the winter months, remove snow from walkways, parking lots, and entrances to ensure safe access to the church.

    • General Grounds Maintenance: Ensure the exterior grounds are free of debris, leaves, and litter. Maintain any flower beds, shrubbery, and other landscaping features as needed.

  • Miscellaneous Duties:

    • General Repairs: Assist with maintenance or repairs as needed.

    • Special Events Support: Assist with preparing the building for special events (e.g., setting up or breaking down for events, additional cleaning before/after events).

    • Supply Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies to ensure there is always an adequate stock available.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in facilities maintenance, building cleaning, groundskeeping, or janitorial work preferred, but not required.

Skills

  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and lawnmowers.

  • Basic knowledge of groundskeeping and snow removal practices.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed (e.g., trash bags, cleaning supplies).

  • Ability to bend, squat, and lift to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.

  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and snow.

  • Assist the video team on Sunday morning as needed with roaming shots, shooting b-roll and other tasks needed for online services.

  • Assist with on-location video shoots.

  • Help oversee the audio quality in all videos produced.

  • Serve as back-up technician on various Embrace projects, including podcasts and other projects as assigned.
