Summary of the position:

The Video Producer will be responsible for creating stories and announcements through video that will show primarily during the weekend services. They will also be a part of a team that shoots and edits videos for conferences and special event/services.


Experience, Knowledge and Ability Required:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or Final Cut Pro (Premiere CC, After Effects CC)
  • Previous experience in DSLR video workflow
  • Experience with shooting and editing video on a deadline basis is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work as a team player and discuss needs, challenges and ideas
  • Ability to think ahead, anticipate needs and offer creative solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to extract compelling elements from raw video footage


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Create video content for Sunday morning service experience at Embrace Church
  • Create video content for the ministries of Embrace Church
  • Lead and execute on location video shoots
  • Conceptualize and create video content from start to finish for weekend services and conferences
  • Receive footage and be able to create a video outline with it
  • Digitally cutting the files to put together the sequence deciding what is usable
  • Overseeing the quality of the audio in the video
  • Consulting with the director, producer and/or ministry client throughout the post-production process


Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects, organize tasks, and prioritize workload
  • Communicate with Creative Director and other team members
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the embrace art department digital storage of work and projects
  • During non-business hours, he or she should be available for rare emergency work
  • Other duties as assigned
