This Week’s Updates – 3/11/16

Hey Embrace!

How’s everyone doing?!?! So well here on this end. I am PUMPED about the next 3 weeks at Embrace as we get closer to Easter! Here’s why:

This Sunday we’re starting a new series called Alive! I seriously can’t wait to see how God is going to move these next 3 weeks! I can’t encourage all of us enough to reach out and invite and invite some more! More info.

This Sunday, we’re also going to be tweaking our serve times as well! We’re celebrating the time change with Starbucks Frappuccino’s! Check out the new times below.

Next Sunday is Palm Sunday and the following is Easter!!!! Watch a quick 2 minute video and find out more about all the details here!

I know I already said it, but I can’t stress it enough. These 3 weeks are weeks that people are open to and wanting to check out a church. It is the PERFECT time to bring a first time guest with. Lord, please use us.

Can’t wait for Sunday!

P.S. Have you taken part in this month’s One Thing yet? Find out more here.

This Week’s Updates – 3/4/16

Happy Friday Everyone!

I hope it’s been a great week so far.

This week I have 3 things to mention:

#1 This Sunday I am PUMPED that we have Chris Brown with us. Chris is a friend, pastor, and a part of the Dave Ramsey team. He’s going to be sharing very practical words on life. Don’t miss it. Know anyone who’s a fan of Dave Ramsey, whether they attend Embrace or not… let them know! More info.

#2 Each year, we get excited about seeing so many at Embrace grow in their walk with Christ and in their generosity. Consider Embrace your home? Find out more about this year’s 1090 Challenge here.

#3 This Monday (March 7th) join us for an evening of discussion and commentary from two of the leading voices in the tension between faith and culture: Gabe Lyons and David Kinnaman. It’s going to be an awesome night. Childcare and Root beer floats are provided. More info.

Can’t wait for Sunday!!!

March One Thing: Chemotherapy Care Packages

Each month, we focus on doing One Thing as a church to show the love of Christ. In the month of March we partnered with Sanford & St John’s Hospital to provide chemotherapy care packages for adults and kids who are starting cancer treatment. As a church, we collected 495 packages! THANK YOU!

This Week’s Updates – 2/25/16

Hey Embrace!

I hope this finds you well. It’s been a great week so far here! I just continue to be AMAZED by what God is doing in and through this church.

This week I have 4 main things to share:

#1 This Sunday, I’ll be sharing a message called Hoarders looking at a story out of Luke 12! If you call Embrace your home, I can’t encourage you enough to come Sunday. More info.

#2 On Monday March 7th, join us for an evening of discussion and commentary from two of the leading voices in the tension between faith and culture: Gabe Lyons and David Kinnaman. More info.

#3 For the February One Thing, we are partnering with Center of Hope and Valley Outreach to collect new or gently used coats, gloves and other winter gear in all sizes. If you haven’t done so yet… go through your closets! Go to the store. I pray we knock this month’s One Thing out of the park. More info.

#4 We’re always looking for future campus pastors! Know anyone in Sioux City, Fargo, Minneapolis, or Sioux Falls that would make a great campus pastor? Find out more here.

See everyone on Sunday!

Love you Embrace.
