Good friends of ours are at Sanford (Jesse and Jenna) with an early c-section delivery of a new baby girl. The baby is having surgery this morning to remove 2lbs of cysts from her stomach. Please pray or this family that they may find peace and strength through Christ in a time of confusion and stress.

Amy has her first week at work (teaching voice lessons at USF) after starting chemo. She only has about four weeks left in the semester before she can take a break for the summer and two of them promise to be fairly hard weeks directly after chemo treatments. She would love to help her students get ready for various performances that are coming up in order to finish the semester well. We would love prayers for her energy and for opportunities to rest throughout the day as she has been extremely tired and achy the last two days.

Prayers requested for Isabelle Mika (daughter of Matthew & Marybeth) as she is at Sanford Children's Hospital fighting pneumonia. She went in on Wednesday.

Will you pray for us? Although, we now feel completely at ease with the new house and new realtor, we run the risk of not being able to close on April 30. Normally, it wouldn’t be a big deal, but our son is having some sensory issues and his care team are worried about what impact two moves will have on him. So we are hoping and praying that everything works out and we’ll only have to move once. But we also know God is in control and we’ve learned some pretty good lessons through this all!!

We met with Amy's oncologist yesterday and the short version is that things are looking favorable. Amy will be starting chemo next Thursday (the 11th), but the time table is dictated more by our calendar than any sense of urgency in the treatment, so things still hold at stage one with a very solid treatment plan.
Prayers would be appreciated for her healing (always first and foremost), for the nausea associated with the chemo to be minimal (she is fairly sensitive in this area), that the chemo would prove effective against her type of cancer, and for her peace as we navigate through the other physical effects of the chemo.

Prayers for my husband Bobby. He has a yearly bone marrow biopsy coming up on Thursday and we would appreciate prayers that the procedure would go well and we would have peace as we wait on the results. ( Results should take about 2 weeks) Praise that he has been cancer free for 4 years!

We have been trying to get pregnant and we are losing hope. We cannot afford to go further in our infertility treatments. We have been trying to understand that this may not be God's will in our lives, but it is still so, so painful.
