Last night, the father of one of my dearest friends committed suicide. This was out of the blue and a complete shock to friends and family. Please pray for closure and healing for this family as the next few days/weeks will be some of the toughest they will ever experience.

From Jordan Jerke: Prayers appreciated for my aunt Becky. She lives in Moore, OK and had a wall fall on her from the tornado. Last word was that she was in the ER. My cousin Chris is still missing as of this morning.

Me and my husband are taking out first trip together, ever. And although we travel a lot as a family we have never been away from the kids. My two year old doesn't go to daycare so this will be a very hard change for her for these three days. I am terrified and feel extremely guilty for leaving my kids, but I know my husband is really looking forward to this. Please pray for little Ms. Thiery and my little Xander man as well as peace for me so I can NOT freak out at the airport.

Please pray for my unsaved brother. He knows there is a "greater power" but is skeptical. He's extremely intelligent and needs facts and proof. Please pray that Jesus would soften his heart, break in, and prove himself true. My brother has a huge heart and I know that when he finally gives his life to Christ, he will be a passionate follower.
Also, please pray for my sister. She's divorced and has allowed God to heal her heart from that abusive marriage. Pray that she continues to wait for her future husband with peace, and that he would enter her life soon. Lord, help her fall more in love with You as she waits for the one you designed for her!

Please pray for my marriage. I am tired and confused...dealing with many issues over the past 30 years and I want to give up but I love my husband. I feel unloved and unwanted by my husband who suffers from depression and addictions. I realize I cannot change him and I do pray for him (and us). I am hoping that if more people pray for us God will lift this cloud of confusion and weariness that hangs over us. Thank you God for all of your blessings. Jesus, You are my Savior and example.

I just need to share some big news (well big to me) and ask humbly to be joined in prayers of thanksgiving as I just went to my first Al-Anon meeting last night. Man oh man I was overwhelmed with loving-kindness and understanding. Hard not to wonder what if I had only gone sooner... Yet that being said need to be grateful to God for finally helping me (after over a year of consideration) step through that front door and attend a meeting. I'm really anticipating what He has in store for my life with greater appreciation now even after just one meeting! Feeling comfortably overwhelmed with joy in midst of what has been a rather trying time in my life... Giving Him all the honor and glory, Amen.
