Tim Willard writes full time. That means he drinks loads of coffee and doesn’t sleep much. He also serves as Chaplain for Praxis and co-authored Veneer: Living Deeply In A Surface Society (Zondervan). He married way up, all the way to Christine. His two dauthers, Daughters Lyric and Brielle keep the whimsy, whimsy. And baby three is on the way. Our worship services are geared to regular Joe’s and Jill’s… or is it Julie’s? We’ll do some singing with either a band or an acoustic guitar and then a message will be drawn from God’s Word and made relevant, useful, and alive to the normal person of Sioux Falls.
Children’s Church takes place during all 3 services and it’s where kids Preschool to 5th grade can sing songs, hear a Bible Story, make crafts, and play games. To sum it up, the kids will have fun learning about Jesus!
As always, nursery childcare is provided during all 3 services for any kids ages 6mo – 3 years old as well!

Anne Jackson will be bringing the message.
Anne Jackson lives in Holland, Michigan where she is studying clinical psychology and social work at Hope College. She’s written two books: Mad Church Disease & Permission to Speak Freely: Essays and Art on Fear, Confession and Grace She is currently writing a third book to be published with Thomas Nelson sometime (hopefully) before the end of the world.
Anne is an advocate for Compassion International <http://www.compassion.com/> and Blood:Water Mission <http://bloodwatermission.com/> . She was a cyclist on the 2010 Ride:Well Tour <http://www.ridewelltour.org/> , a cross-country cycling tour in Summer 2010. The trip from San Diego to Myrtle Beach raised awareness and funds for water projects in Africa. She’s also a big fan of The Mentoring Project <http://www.thementoringproject.org/> and To Write Love on Her Arms <http://www.twloha.com/> .

Aaron Pennington will be bringing the message.
Aaron Pennington is the Queen Creek Campus Pastor for Central Christian Church in Arizona. He and his wife Emily are die hard University of Kentucky basketball fans. Both of them are extremely passionate about healthy marriages. Aaron and Emily have 2 little ones, a 3 year old daughter name Lillie, and Jonathan who will be 2 in September.

Outdoor Worship Service

McKennan Park Bandshell
Embrace is heading outdoors! Join us at 10am (NO 11:15am service) at the McKennan Park Bandshell for a great chance to worship God while enjoying the glory of His creation! Be sure to bring your lawn chair or blanket and some sunscreen.
After the service, we’d love to have ya stick around for an awesome potluck, fun & fellowship, and inflatables! Embrace will provide the burgers and dogs for the picnic, those with last names starting with A-F should bring a dessert, G-K a side dish or casserole, L-P a salad, Q-T some chips or pop, and U-Z buns. Even if ya can’t bring something to share, we’d still love to have ya!
Adam will be performing baptisms once again! If you are interested in being baptized, please contact him at adam@iamembrace.com.
In the event of inclement weather, our church services will be held as normal (2 services – 10:00 & 11:15am) at Embrace. Let’s all pray for sunshine!

Rick Pridey will be bringing the message and singer/songwriter Danen Kane will be sharing some of his original music.
Danen Kane is a full time touring Acoustic Artist/Worship leader from Green Bay, WI. Over the past 10 years he has released 5 studio albums and currently averages about 200 events a year nation wide. His latest album “Love Is Waiting” has been featured on the Gospel Music channel as well as in “Worship Leader” and “CCM” magazines and he has played with artists like Sara Groves, Shawn McDonald, Barlow Girl, Building 429, and Rebecca St. James over the past 2 years. Vacation Bible School
Sunday, June 10th – Wednesday, June 13th from 6-8pm
Family Kickoff Picnic – Sunday, June 10th from 4-6pm
Embrace Church
Join us at Embrace for a great family Kickoff picnic for the beginning of Vacation Bible School!
The picnic will begin on Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm giving families a chance to fellowship with each other, tour the VBS facilites, and meet the VBS staff & helpers! Embrace will provide drinks for the picnic. Families with last names beginning with A-H are asked to bring main dishes/casseroles, I-P bring side dishes, and Q-Z bring desert. All are welcome to attend the picnic, regardless of participation in VBS!
VBS will run Sunday June 10th – Wednesday June 13th from 6-8pm. All children age 4 through 5th grade are welcome to attend (those going into 6th grade and up are encouraged to be helpers)! Registration forms are available on the bulletin board near the multi-purpose room or you can click here to register online. We hope to see you there!
