Summer is Heating Up at Embrace!
I don’t think I have ever been so excited about summer! Winter seemed to go on forever, but now hot summer days are here! What am I so excited for? The kids are out of school. Grilling. Going to the lake. Driving my Rambler. Hanging out with friends and family! Need I say more? And the same is also true about what we have going on in and around Embrace! This summer, we’re doing anything but “taking it easy”… and I promise you won’t want to miss what’s all happening!
Summer Kickoff – This Sunday, June 2nd
We’re kicking off summer in a BIG way! It’s gonna be a powerful message looking at Luke 14 and talking about “More Room.” Especially if you consider Embrace your home, I can’t encourage you enough to join us and come hear what the Lord has put on my heart for this day. For more info, click here.
Message Series & Guest Speakers
This summer, we’ve got some powerful message series and amazing guest speakers including Matt Leroy on Sunday, June 9th. Upcoming series include “Immeasurable,” Jump!” and “Under Construction.” Also, later this summer we’re excited to have Aaron Pennington, James Barnett with Clothe Your Neighbor as Yourself along with Eric Samuel Timm join us! You won’t want to miss a Sunday!
Vacation Bible School: Monday, June 24 – Thursday, June 27
This year we are going all out for Kingdom Rock VBS! We’re praying for an awesome time for our kids to learn and hear more about Jesus! More than that, we’re praying to reach a whole bunch of kids outside of Embrace! We’re praying that we’ll see 400 kids register this year. Reach out & invite all the parents you know with kids 3-years-old thru 5th grade! VBS is FREE and you can register online right here.
Outdoor Service – Sunday, July 28th
This Sunday is always a highlight of the year… and this year, we’re going CRAZY! The message is called “Jump!” and we’re encouraging people to do just that when it comes to Jesus. That’d we’d be all in. Fully devoted. That we’d JUMP headfirst in our walk with Him. We’re praying to see many people be baptized and afterwards we’re grilling out and having a huge potluck! There’ll be inflatable games for the kids! Watch for more details to come.
Small Groups
We’re excited to share that there are several interest-related small groups, including a running group and a gardening group, starting for the summer! It’s a great way to connect with others at Embrace while being active!
